5 Call Ups & Returns To Expect on the SmackDown After WrestleMania

SmackDown after WrestleMania 34 could be as packed as RAW

What a week this has been, right? From the emotions that gushed during the Hall of Fame to the nail-biting excitement of NXT TakeOver: New Orleans to the spectacle that was WrestleMania 34 to the intensity of RAW after WrestleMania 34, every moment was highly memorable. SmackDown Live could be as exciting as the others.

RAW saw the return of Samoa Joe and Jeff Hardy from injury. It also saw superstars such as the Authors of Pain, Ember Moon and No Way Jose called up. Ultimately, Lashley came back and made an instant impact as he absolutely obliterated Elias.

What surprises does WWE have planned on SmackDown Live then? For now, we can only speculate.

Here are 5 names who could definitely show up and change the layout of the blue brand entirely!

#5 Big Cass

WWE may have big plans for Big Cass
WWE may have big plans for Big Cass

Yes, we all know what you are thinking right now. Big Cass was a RAW superstar when he suffered his injury. How could he possibly show up on SmackDown Live before the forthcoming Superstar Shake-Up then? The answer: WWE changes the rules as it befits the prevalent, ongoing storyline!

Big Cass could certainly fare significantly better on SmackDown Live than on RAW. As a heel, he would have some great babyfaces to work against, such as AJ Styles, Randy Orton, and Bobby Roode as well. Maybe even Rusev, who's somewhere between a heel and a face at this point in time.

Cass looks the part of the WWE superstar with his physique, his height and his incredible presence. He could very well change the landscape of SmackDown Live in the months that follow after WrestleMania 34.

#4 Chris Jericho

Finally, Fozzy is not on tour!
Finally, Fozzy is not on tour!

Chris Jericho's band Fozzy is doing very well for themselves. While a significant number of their fans are wrestling fans too, we're certain the guys don't mind. Their single 'Judas' did quite brilliantly on YouTube and helped Fozzy score a host of gigs across the world. But now, the tour is done.

We could certainly see Jericho emerge with his 'list', much to the amazement of the WWE Universe. Jericho still wrestles at the highest level as we saw from his match against Kenny Omega recently. And he's still as popular as ever, as we saw from the ovation he received in New Japan.

Jericho could really bolster the SmackDown Live card with his psychology and his experience. He could be AJ Styles' new challenger for the WWE Championship in the months that follow. He could even be the central babyface who works with Jinder Mahal to get him over as the US Champion.

#3 Lars Sullivan

SmackDown Live desperately needs their own monster
SmackDown Live desperately needs their own monster as well!

Even though SmackDown Live has Baron Corbin in their ranks, there's a general perception that the guys on SmackDown Live are just smaller than those on RAW. This could change with the arrival of Lars Sullivan. Sullivan is one of those cats who is customized for the main roster. His look is great and he isn't very shabby in the ring either.

Sullivan would make for a really cool villain with his strength and his persona. He could have many exciting programs with the smaller guys in the roster eventually beating them to an absolute pulp.

#2 The Iconic Duo

These two could be the second coming of the Bella Twins, with better wrestling skills

Fans have been asking for a really long time now- 'why are Billie Kay and Peyton Royce not on the main roster?' They may get their wish granted very soon indeed. The Iconic Duo should be called upon the SmackDown Live after WrestleMania.

They could give Charlotte Flair some new blood to feud against. The two sassy Aussies could even take on the heel trio- The Riott Squad and infuse some fresh blood into the division when they do run amok! The best part- both of them are good wrestlers.

They could even take exception to Naomi winning the Women's Royal Rumble. There are so many possibilities for these two dangerous and lovely women!

#1 Andrade 'Cien' Almas

Almas and Vega are ready for the big time

We know that some of you probably wanted 'Johnny Gargano' in the top spot. He was certainly one of our top picks as well. Daniel Bryan even said that he wants Gargano on SmackDown Live. However, Gargano did mention on social media that he still had unfinished business in NXT.

Therefore, we bring you Gargano's second greatest opponent. Ciampa and Gargano may have waged a battle only a few days ago, but so did Almas and Gargano on Royal Rumble weekend. Some have called the match the best one in NXT history.

And that concludes our lineup of superstars who could show up and shock the world. Do you think any of the names we've mentioned actually will?
