#4 Cyndi Lauper

She just
She just wanted to have fun

Selling over 50 million records and 20 million singles, Cyndi Lauper is a pop culture icon. After Hall of Famer Captain Lou Albano appeared in two of her music videoes, the two became friends, and Dave Wolff, Lauper's boyfriend and manager at the time, was a wrestling fan as a boy and engineered the rock and wrestling connection.

Cyndi feuded with Captain Lou, where she accompanied Wendi Richter to her Women's Championship match with the Fabulous Moolah, accompanied by Lou, which also happened to be the first live women's professional wrestling match on TV, at The Brawl To End it All on July 23, 1984, which Wendi won. Prior to the match, the WWF promoted Moolah as holding the championship for the previous 28 years. Cyndi then participated in a famous angle where she was shoved by Roddy Piper, to set up his match with Hulk Hogan at The War To Settle The Score. Cyndi also accompanied Wendi Richter to her match at the very first WrestleMania.
