The WWE Hall of Fame is a hall of fame of Professional Wrestlers that is maintained by the WWE. Originally, the WWE Hall of Fame ceremonies originally were held by the WWE King of The Ring. In 1996, It was held before the Survivor Series Event. For reasons unknown, the WWE Hall of Fame went into hiatus until 2004.
In 2004, As WrestleMania 20 was about to start, WWE relaunched the WWE Hall of Fame. It was not broadcast on Television. From 2015, The WWE Hall of Ceremonies were shown live on the WWE Network.
The WWE Hall of Fame initially only inducted individual, groups and tag teams. This was expanded to Celebrities and the Legacy wing. After the Ultimate Warrior's Death, WWE announced the Warrior Award for individuals that exhibited strength and perseverance that embodies the spirit of the Ultimate Warrior, with the first being presented at the WWE Hall of Fame 2015 ceremony. The first recipient was late eight year old fan Connor Michalek.
The Undertaker is going to be inducted by Vince McMahon.
Vader will be posthumously inducted by Mick Foley.
Queen Sharmell will be inducted by her husband & Hall of Famer Booker T.
The Steiner Brothers will be inducted into WWE Hall of Fame 2022.
Shad Gaspard will be a posthumous recipient for the Warrior Award at WWE Hall of Fame 2022.
