This year's Survivor Series could be an amazing show!
This year's Survivor Series could be an amazing show!

The Superstar Shake-up is finally over, with a number of superstars changing brands on both RAW and SmackDown this past week. Major debuts, huge top stars changing brands, and weird new names - we got it all at the Superstar Shake-up.

With this, WWE is officially underway with the new programming for the new business year for them, after WrestleMania. A lot of new rivalries were teased this past week, and a lot of dream-matches are now possible, thanks to the Shake-up.

SmackDown will be moving to the FOX network later this year, and the first big PPV after that move would be Survivor Series, which has been a RAW vs SmackDown themed PPV ever since the brand split to determine brand supremacy.

Unlike last year, SmackDown will definitely have a great showing on the show, and there are possibilities a lot of amazing and interesting matchups in the champion vs champion showdowns for the PPV.

In this article, let's take a look at the 5 Champion vs Champion matches that we can now witness at Survivor Series 2019 due to the Superstar Shake-up. Let us know which one you would be most interested to watch!

#5 Lars Sullivan (Intercontinental Champion) vs Braun Strowman (United States Champion)

The battle of the monsters!
The battle of the monsters!

Ever since the news of NXT's monster Lars Sullivan coming to RAW, fans have been wanting to see a confrontation between him and WWE's Monster among Men, Braun Strowman. The sheer size and strength of these two monstrous creatures make me wonder what destruction a match between the two can cause.

Unfortunately, with Lars moving to SmackDown and Braun staying on RAW, this match might not take place so soon. But if the correct direction is any indication, these two can definitely meet in a mid-card Champion vs Champion match at Survivor Series.

Braun already looks ready to start a feud with the current US champion, Samoa Joe. So there is a good possibility that he will end up with the US Title around his waist in a couple of months or so.

On the other hand, Lars has been booked as an absolute freak on the main roster so far, and we might soon see him lay waste to Finn Balor and take his championship from him. If these two become the mid-card champs within a couple of months, there is a huge chance of this match being at Survivor Series.

#4 Becky 2 Belts Open Challenge - Answered by Toni Storm (NXT UK Women's Champion)

What a debut would that be!
What a debut would that be!

There are a lot of weird possibilities of what could happen if Becky Lynch keeps both the titles for a long time. One of those is who will she face at Survivor Series then? She can't face herself after-all right?

One interesting thing to do would be if Becky comes out and says she has no competition since there is no champion to face her. She can then go on to give an open challenge to anyone in the back to come and face her.

Now, this might be a little fantasy booking, but this would be an epic way to introduce the NXT UK Women's Champion, Toni Storm to the main roster. I feel Toni will be one of the biggest stars of WWE in the near future.

An impactful debut like this would be the best way to kick-off her main roster career. Even if it is a one-night deal, this could serve as a platform for her eventual debut down the line.

In one of her interviews, Toni mentioned that Becky is her biggest inspiration. Thus this would be a huge moment for her as well.

#3 The Viking Experience (RAW Tag Team Champions) vs Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson (SmackDown Tag Team Champions)

How amazing would this match be?
How amazing would this match be?

Looking at their current bookings, it's tough to say this but I believe WWE will soon push The Good Brothers, especially at the time when SmackDown will move to FOX network.

The War Raiders (sadly, The Viking Experience now) debuted on the main roster this week at RAW. Not just that, they also defeated the current RAW Tag Team Champs, Curt Hawkins, and Zack Ryder on their very first night.

This speaks volumes about the confidence Vince has in them. Don't be surprised if they soon win the RAW Tag Team Championship, and carry it till Survivor Series to represent RAW.

A match between these two teams be very unique and new, something WWE and especially RAW seriously needs to revitalize its main roster tag division right now.

#2 Seth Rollins (Universal Champion) vs Roman Reigns (WWE Champion)

Will the Shield Brothers collide at Survivor Series as top champs?
Will the Shield Brothers collide at Survivor Series as top champs?

With Seth Rollins winning the Universal Title at WrestleMania 35, fans were wondering who will challenge him for the title? One name that came to everyone's mind was his Shield-brother, Roman Reigns.

Thankfully, Roman has been drafted to SmackDown and would be away from the Universal Championship for the foreseeable future. But that doesn't mean he won't be in the title picture. If you know Vince, then you know that there is a good chance that he would book him against Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship, and potentially even put the title on him, especially during the FOX network jump.

If this does happen, we might as well get to see two former brothers go down at it as the Universal and WWE Champions respectively, to determine brand supremacy. It would be amazing to watch these two go at it once more.

#1 AJ Styles (Universal Champion) vs Finn Balor (WWE Champion)

Too sweet!
Too sweet!

While SmackDown got Roman as its biggest acquisition, Monday Nights became Phenomenal as AJ Styles was drafted to RAW this week. As soon as this happened, fans have started getting more anxious to see Styles challenge Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship.

AJ Styles vs Seth Rollins would be a huge dream-match for many, and it could also lead to AJ Styles becoming the Universal Champion for the first time. On the other hand, there's a certain demon who got drafted to SmackDown with his Intercontinental Championship.

Finn Balor's move to SmackDown could do wonders to his career, as he would get the proper exposure and time to be at the top of the roster, something which was not possible on RAW. If Balor somehow manages to grab the WWE Championship before Survivor Series, we could witness two of the most coveted superstars and athletes compete as two top champions of the company. This would be TOO SWEET!
