Goldberg returned to WWE on the RAW go-home show of SummerSlam, and he is set to face Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam. Ziggler has taunted and put down Goldberg as well as other WWE legends over the last few weeks, which resulted in Goldberg returning and challenging Ziggler.

There are a few problems with this feud. The storyline has been hastily put together in the last two weeks with Goldberg appearing for the first time in the dying moments of this past week's RAW.

Secondly, the selection of Ziggler as the opponent of Goldberg is a bit surprising. Ziggler is a fantastic in-ring worker, but WWE could have used this opportunity to push a younger Superstar rather than Ziggler, who is probably at the end of his full-time run with WWE. The likes of Sami Zayn or Elias could have been a better option than Ziggler; or even Matt Riddle, who has real-life heat with Goldberg.
