WWE’s 2K series brings gamers the best gaming experience in wrestling gaming, with a roster packed with immensely playable WWE Superstars that are on contract with 2K17 or the WWE itself.
Despite this abundance of fighters, the community of WWE 2K17 gamers have gone out to create the faces that they feel are missing on the game.
The result is a wildly varying list of characters that include internet figures, world leaders, superheroes and anyone else that captures the community’s creators’ fancy. These characters are built with the in-game features provided by the 2K17 instalment and can be downloaded by the community, once released.
This list allows a glimpse into the world of WWE 2K17 community’s creations and the variety of possibilities in the sphere.
So here’s our list of some of the most interesting characters that the fans have designed after using the WWE’s Create A Wrestler (CAW) feature.
#1 Batman
The Dark Knight himself makes an appearance within WWE 2K17 in his Batman Beyond avatar, raising possibilities of a three-way match with The Undertaker, Bray Wyatt and the Dark Knight himself to determine the true ruler of darkness in the WWE.

Batman, being a superhero, obviously boasts a rating on the higher side with the creator giving him a rating of 100.
The Batman’s specialities include Ruthless Aggression, Rope Break and Brawl which give him an upper hand against most fighters in the ring. The Dark Knight prefers to finish things off with a spear into a pin combo.
#2 Harambe
WWE 2K17 was released in the year of Harambe, the heroic ape who was shot protecting a human baby at a zoo and became an overnight internet sensation, inspiring multiple Facebook pages and thousands of internet memes.
Harambe is everyone’s favourite big ape and he obviously makes an appearance on WWE 2K17 to exact his revenge on the cruel humans.
The Harambe CAW is designed using only the textures feature on the 2K17 game and looks pretty much like a full grown gorilla but has an overall of only 75 points, which is surprisingly low for an animal of its size and strength.
The ape has limited in-ring abilities which is probably due to its immense size, but a blow from the chimp’s powerful arms is likely to put any wrestler to bed for a while. Crushing opponents using the Samoan Driver, Harambe is a fearsome opponent in WWE 2K17.
#3 Super Mario
The Super Mario and Luigi CAWs have become a “WWE 2K” series tradition, with many versions of the two Nintendo heroes cropping up with the launch of each instalment of the 2K series.
This year’s Super Mario CAW, with his signature blue and red outfit, has been a huge hit amongst players as well, with downloads numbering in thousands.
Super Mario might come across as a bit of a softie with an overall rating of 75 but is certainly a formidable wrestler who uses a deadly Samoan Driver and Arm Wrench clothesline to finish off his opponents.
He may lack in in-ring abilities with zero special skills, but makes up for it because, well, he is Super Mario.
The popularity of the Super Mario character remains sky high and has multiple versions although Nintendo would probably prefer its characters be played in their own games, like the Super Smash Bros, instead of WWE 2K17.
#4 Hillary Clinton
The losing candidate in the American Presidential elections also manages to make an appearance as one of the most widely downloaded CAWs in the game.
The creator of the Hilary Clinton character also thought it essential to make it a point to give Hilary a halo over her head and a devil’s tail, making it clear where his political loyalties lay.
Clinton boasts an overall attribute of 95 with her signature move being the Pump Handle Suplex or the T-Bone Suplex.
Hilary may have lost the Presidential battle, but she remains a fearsome in-ring competitor in the game having abilities like “Move Thief”, “Fan Favourite” and “Ruthless Aggression” in her signature attributes although the latter might have gone missing during her fight against Donald Trump.
#5 Donald Trump
Speaking of the newly elected Commander in Chief of the United States of America, with Hilary Clinton around, it would have been absurd to imagine that her eventual conqueror Donald Trump, wouldn’t be in the game.
The President of the United States weighs in with an overall rating of 86, which is significantly lower than that of archrival Hilary Clinton. He finishes off opponents with a “Coast to Coast” or “Samoan Driver” and his in ring abilities constitute the ever effective “Stare Down” and “Rope Breaker”.
Although Trump’s attributes may not be as impressive as Hilary Clinton’s, it is important to remember that he was also not expected to win the election against a seasoned politician, and we all know how that turned out.
That, and given Trump’s prior experience in the WWE again make him a formidable opponent for a potential match up against Hilary Clinton, this time in WWE 2K17!
