For the WWE enthusiasts, WrestleMania is no less than a festival, as the excitement, thrills and enjoyment are always at the peak. WrestleMania is the grandest stage of all the PPV's and the wrestlers and the management put a lot of effort to make it the best event of the year.

Every year, many classic matches take place at WrestleMania and various records get created. Various story-lines, feuds, heel turns, face turns and other rivalries either started or ended over here. However, all of this started at Madison Square Garden, New York, where the first-ever WrestleMania took place.

There was a total of nine matches and some great legends competed in those fights. Some of them are Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Ricky Steamboat and several others. These players started something then which today is a worldwide phenomenon.

The fans in New York witnessed the beginning of perhaps the biggest PPV in the world. WrestleMania will keep coming every year, but the first WrestleMania ever will forever be cherished and remembered.
