5 cool 'Easter eggs' you may have missed from WrestleMania

Wrestle
WrestleMania was action-packed!

Well, with so much going on at WrestleMania, it's no surprise that some stuff can slip the radar. The night was filled with a lot of really cool added touches, that eagle-eyed members of the WWE Universe managed to pick up on, and a lot of the stuff if you blinked, you definitely might have missed.

I count down my top five cool 'hidden gems' from the New Orleans spectacular!

#5 There were TV, movie and game references aplenty in-ring attire

T
This match was a classic - but it had two of the best sets of ring gear all night

Well, right from the get-go, WWE's top Superstars were quick to unleash their geeky sides and show off their passion in the form of unique right gear.

From Mustafa Ali's Mortal Kombat inspired attire...

To Cedric Alexander's Black Panther-inspired gear...

And even Seth Rollins' Game of Thrones inspired clothing.

WWE's Superstars went all out with their clothing choices for WrestleMania - and it's awesome to see them reveal their passions.

#4 Finn Balor wasn't the only one promoting LGBT awareness

Finn Balor's new shirt is in support of the LGBT community

Well, after releasing a T-shirt in aid of 'GLAAD' and to raise awareness and stand in solidarity with the LGBT community, Finn Balor's entrance was praised online as he reinforced the 'Balor Club for everyone' message. But, the Irishman wasn't the only person promoting equality on 'The Grandest Stage of Them All'.

Sonya Deville, WWE's first ever openly gay female Superstar, had some unique attire too when she appeared in the WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal.

#3 The NXT ladies in the Women's Battle Royal all represented a different country

Here's one of the really cool stats, as a ridiculous amount of history was made in this match already, but all six women who appeared from NXT as surprise entrants in the inaugural WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal, each represented a different country.

Peyton Royce is Australian, Bianca Belair is American, Kaira Sane is Japanese, Dakota Kai is from New Zealand, Kavita Devi is from India, and Taynara Conti is from Brazil. For many of these women, they were either the first person from the said country or, the first female from their country to compete at WrestleMania.

#2 Aiden English thought the Battle Royal was a Hair vs Hair Match

In one of the most bizarre spots of the night, Aiden English was eliminated early from the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

It turns out English just needed some time to shave his head before introducing Rusev, as he emerged with no hair a couple of hours later, as you can see below.

Maybe he just wanted a fresh start after the Battle Royal, who knows? Either way, this one definitely confused the WWE Universe.

# 1 Triple H's special patches

A closer look at Triple H's jacket.

Triple H paid homage to his favorite band, Motorhead, but also to NXT, as you can see with the patches on his jacket below.

Now, we've seen Triple H pay tribute to Lemmy before, so the Motorhead patch wasn't hugely surprising, but many missed the NXT patch, which showed just how proud Triple H is of his behind the scenes work, and of the NXT roster for their incredible work at TakeOver on Saturday.
