#4. IMPACT Wrestling star Cassie Lee and All Elite Wrestling star Shawn Spears

IMPACT Wrestling star Cassie Lee first met her husband, AEW star Shawn Spears, when they were both in WWE. In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Cassie revealed her initial reaction to seeing Spears backstage.

"I was just drawn to him. Yea, straight away, I just thought he was so attractive. I looked up to him because he was so good and so anytime we got extra training in the ring and I knew he was going to be taking training, I was like, I have to be in that session," she said.

On the couple's first date, Spears made a shocking revelation to Cassie. The AEW told her that they were not suitable for each other. The former WWE Women's Tag Team Champion disclosed the details of that moment during a Q&A session on Instagram.

"He said to me that he’s not going to be the one for me, and I thought, 'challenge accepted, mate!' Look who won that. Also, I’m going to add that he thought that because he thought because I was young and I had a lot of drinking and partying and experimental crap to do and he just didn’t know yet that all that stuff is not me so yeah, now he knows!" she explained.

In February 2019, Spears left WWE to join AEW. Six months later, the couple tied the knot. Cassie also left WWE earlier this year. The company released the 28-year-old from her contract last April.

Cassie recently joined IMPACT Wrestling and quickly became Impact Knockouts Tag Team Champion alongside Jessica McKay.
