#4 Wolfgang and Drew McIntyre have had a long friendship
Drew McIntyre is unarguably the biggest WWE Superstar to have come out of Scotland, and The Scottish Psychopath has managed to enter his name in WWE's history books as he became first-ever British-born WWE Champion.
While McIntyre is a big name in the industry, there are a few other friends of his from Scotland who are making a name for themselves in WWE too. Wolfgang from NXT UK is one of McIntyre’s closest friends. The two men have known each other from a long time, and McIntyre has pushed for a chance to perform in NXT UK several times because of that reason.
Speaking to Sport Bible about the possibility of joining Gallus, McIntyre had the following to say:
"Don't know if it's in my best interest to be joining in anymore groups. I think I'm doing my best when I'm by myself. Those guys are guys I've known forever, especially Wolfgang, I took his first wrestling lesson about 16/17 years ago. If I had a chance in any group it would be with those lads but yeah I'd be better off on my own, high fiving them in the back, and maybe fighting one of them on the show.”
Wolfgang has said that McIntyre is the right man to be the first Scot to be crowned the WWE Champion, and has wished him the best for his future.
