#1 Braun Strowman - WWE Intercontinental Champion

The Intercontinental Championship has had quite a rough year in 2020. In fact, since Braun Strowman beat Shinsuke Nakamura for the title back at WWE Royal Rumble this year, there hasn't been a single reign that's gone close to 100 days.
The Phenomenal AJ Styles is the only man to get remotely close to that goal this year, holding the title for over 70 days before losing it to Jeff Hardy a few weeks ago. The Monster Among Men, though, had a shockingly short reign with the belt.
WWE has no plans for these former AEW wrestlers? Here's why!
After defeating Nakamura, Strowman held the WWE Intercontinental Championship for a little over a month. A short feud with the Artist Collective saw Strowman drop the title to The Great Liberator Sami Zayn in a handicap match. Strowman probably would've stayed in a program with the Collective had he not been moved into the WWE Universal Championship match at WrestleMania 37.
With Strowman losing the Universal Title to The Fiend and Roman Reigns quickly winning it from him a week later, The Monster may be back in the IC title scene soon this year.
