Over the years, many children of WWE stars have made their debut on WWE programming. Charlotte Flair is the latest in a long line of second-generation wrestlers who have opted to follow in their parent's footsteps as a part of the wrestling business.
Interestingly, many Hall of Famers and pro wrestling legends have gone on to welcome grandchildren in recent years, which means that in a few years there could be an entirely new generation of stars heading into a WWE ring.
It's common knowledge that the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kane, and Ric Flair are already grandfathers. Recently, all of the following current WWE stars have become grandparents, as well.
#5. Michael Hayes
Michael Hayes is a WWE Hall of Famer following his work with The Fabulous Freebirds, but the current WWE Universe probably knows Hayes best as a member of the company's creative team.
Hayes has worked backstage for WWE since 1999. He has held down many roles. The former WCW Tag Team Champion is 61 years old and he has welcomed several children throughout his time with Vince McMahon's multi-media conglomerate.
Hayes has a lot of pull backstage with WWE. Back in 2016, Bo Dallas picked up a victory over a local talent named Gary Graham on RAW. The commentary team noted that this wasn't just any local talent. Graham was actually Michael "PS" Hayes' grandson.
This is the only time that Gary Graham has been seen on WWE programming, which is interesting since WWE could have followed up on Graham's debut. It could've led to an interesting storyline after the company made it clear that Graham was the grandson of the WWE Hall of Famer.
#4. Jerry Lawler
Jerry Lawler recently appeared on WWE programming as part of the commentary team on Monday Night RAW. Lawler seems to return to WWE when needed. If this isn't on commentary, then the WWE Hall of Famer will often work as part of the pre-show panels ahead of pay-per-view events.
Lawler is currently in a relationship with Lauryn McBride. Before that, the King was married on three separate occasions. Lawler married his first wife, Kay, back in 1971. The couple welcomed two sons, Brian and Kevin, who have both been part of the wrestling business in the past.
Lawler divorced his first wife in 1978 and went on to marry Paula in 1982. The couple got divorced in 1991. Lawler's third wife was better known as former WWE Women's Champion, Stacy "The Kat" Carter.
Jerry Lawler became a grandfather to his late son Brian's son, Blake. Blake is 18 years old. He recently spoke following his father's passing. Blake currently wrestles on his high school team but he revealed that his grandfather didn't inspire him to take up the sport.
"What inspired me wasn't really my granddad or my dad, who were both in the WWE. Really it was more my stepdad and stepbrother. They both went to Christian Brothers and wrestled here and I wanted to continue that tradition of CBHS wrestling."
#3. John Laurinaitis
John Laurinaitis currently works as a backstage producer for WWE. The wrestler, formerly known as Johnny Ace, hasn't been seen on WWE programming since he was the General Manager of Monday Night RAW.
Even though Laurinaitis hasn't been seen on television, he has made numerous appearances on the reality show, Total Bellas, over the past few years. The former on-screen personality married The Bella Twins' mother, Kathy Colace, back in 2016. The couple had a private ceremony that was filmed as part of the first season of Total Bellas.
Laurinaitis became Brie, Nikki, and their brother JJ's stepfather, as well as current WWE star, Daniel Bryan's, father-in-law.
Earlier this month, Nikki and Brie Bella both gave birth to sons. Brie already had a daughter named Birdie Joe. JJ and his wife Lauren have also become stars of Total Divas. They welcomed a child of their own a few years ago, which means that Laurinaitis is already a grandfather to four children.
#2. Vince McMahon
Vince McMahon is still the hardest working man in wrestling at 74 years old. The WWE Chairman has made WWE the success that it currently is today, but he has also found time to have a family.
McMahon, and his wife Linda, have two children who have also become household names on WWE programming over the years. Stephanie and Shane McMahon were both authority figures on RAW and SmackDown in recent years. Even though their schedules are hectic, the two siblings have also started families of their own.
Stephanie McMahon married Triple H back in 2003 and the couple has three daughters. McMahon gave birth to Aurora Rose back in 2006, followed by Murphy Claire in 2008 and Vaughn Evelyn in 2010.
Shane McMahon married his high school sweetheart, Marissa Mazzola, and the couple has three sons. Shane is much more private about his children and Vince McMahon's grandchildren. Still, they have been on WWE programming a few times, most notably as part of Shane McMahon's entrance at WrestleMania 32.
#1. Brock Lesnar
Brock Lesnar hasn't appeared for WWE since WrestleMania 36 where he lost the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre. Since "The Beast Incarnate" has been waiting it out as the pandemic COVID-19 has forced WWE to tape empty arena shows. However, he could make his return in the coming months.
Instead, Lesnar has spent his time at home with his family, former WWE Women's Champion, Sable, and their two sons, Duke and Turk. Before her marriage to Lesnar, Sable was married two times.
She welcomed had a daughter named Mariah back when she was married to her first husband, Wayne Richardson. Later, she dated and eventually married Marc Mero, who introduced her to WWE and the wrestling business.
A few years ago, Mariah gave birth to a baby boy at the age of 21, which made Sable and Lesnar grandparents. Lesnar also has two other children from his relationship with Nicole Mclain. The couple had twins named Mya Lynn and Luke, who were born in 2002.
