#8 WWE Superstar Shorty G (needs a new gimmick)

Shorty G

Last year, WWE took one of the most bizarre decisions in history and changed Chad Gable's name to Shorty G. The name refers to the fact that Gable is short, and it's not a surprise that Wrestling Twitter erupted in disgust and anger when the new name was revealed.

Gable took the change in a positive note, but let's face it: one can do only so much while going by the moniker of Shorty G. Not only Gable desperately needs a new name, but a character change as well. His heel turn was a breath of fresh air, but it will only get better if he gets a brand new persona in the coming weeks as part of his turn to the dark side. An excellent example is Murphy, who was already a heel but enhanced his personality even more by becoming The Disciple. Bland personas are bound to get relegated to WWE Main Event, as had been the case with Mustafa Ali. Hopefully, Gable gets a makeover before he shares the same fate.

#7 WWE Champion Drew McIntyre (doesn't need a new gimmick)

Drew McIntyre has been doing an incredible job as a babyface WWE Champion for the past few months. McIntyre, who was once one of the most ruthless heels in WWE, is now a clear cut babyface who respects his fellow babyface opponents. He still has shades of The Scottish Psychopath and displays his full might whenever someone gets in the ring with him.

WWE has a bunch of top heels at the moment, in the likes of Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, and Seth Rollins. McIntyre's current persona, which seems to be a mixture of a good guy, with hints of The Scottish Psychopath thrown in for good measure to deal with his opponents, is something that can last for a good while. Let him run with this character for the foreseeable future, instead of attempting to change something that is working well with the WWE Universe.
