#4 The Forgotten Sons have been away from WWE for months

As their name suggests, the Forgotten Sons are not the name that comes to mind when thinking about SmackDown's tag team scene. After debuting on WWE's Blue brand right after WrestleMania 36, the trio quickly made a name for themselves and took advantage of a division lacking in depth.

Jaxson Ryker, Steve Cutler, and Wesley Blake were in line for a big push towards the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. They even featured in a multi-team title match at Money in the Bank. The Forgotten Sons were also in line for a feud against The New Day for the SmackDown Tag Titles.

However, a politically insensitive tweet from Ryker, the group's muscle, seemingly caused WWE to halt the Forgotten Sons' push. They have not been on SmackDown for months and were promptly replaced by Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura as The New Day's challengers.

For a team whose presence did not exactly set the world on fire when they were on WWE TV, their extended absence has caused them to be, quite literally, forgotten. It is a shame for Culter and Blake, as they might have become SmackDown Tag Team Champions if it wasn't for Ryker's tweet.
