#2 Drew Mcintyre falls to The Undertaker on WWE SmackDown

Drew McIntyre's first WWE run was basically a heel version of Lashley's initial stint. Dubbed the 'Chosen One' by Vince McMahon in 2009, McIntyre was supposed to be a World Champion in the near future and understandably started piling up wins after wins.

He started by beating the likes of R-Truth, Charlie Haas and Finlay and was one of the surviving members of Miz's victorious Survivor Series team. Soon afterwards, he beat John Morrison to win the Intercontinental title and defended it successfully against Morrison and Kane. However, it had become clear that the 'Chosen One' gimmick hadn't really taken off and WWE decided to give more heat to McIntyre.

The way they did this was for McIntyre to lose matches and have those losses expunged from the record due to the influence of Vince McMahon. Kane would hand him his first in-ring loss when he beat McIntyre via pinfall to qualify for the 2010 Money in the Bank match. However, that loss was removed from the records.

This basically gave the impression that McIntyre's unbeaten streak was a sham and it didn't help when he suffered and then expunged another loss - this time to Matt Hardy. The angle did not reach any conclusion as McIntyre was beaten clean by The Undertaker a week later.

Just like Lashley, McIntyre's stock plummeted, with him failing to win the Money in the Bank match and losing his Intercontinental title to Kofi Kingston. Yet, a decade later, and the Scottish Psychopath is WWE Champion. What a turnaround!
