#3 Roman Reigns

Much like Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns joined up with the WWE's developmental program with no prior experience in professional wrestling. After a failed effort to become a part of the NFL, Reigns played American football in the CFL before calling it quits on that part of his career.
Despite this, his father is one part of the Wild Samoans and he is part of the legendary Anao'i family so it was a logical career choice.
He soon joined up with the WWE and rose to superstardom when he was teamed with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose to form The Shield. The rest, as they say, is history.
He might be a much-maligned figure in the world of professional wrestling today but you can't take away from his amazing accomplishments in a short period of time, especially without any exposure to the indie wrestling scene.
