Konnor and Viktor can't even get a tasty pie from Breezango, let alone inductions in the WWE Hall of Fame.

Several years back, when The Ascension were the most dominant thing NXT had ever seen, it would have been unfathomable to be able to criticise them the way we view them now.

Strangely, their careers took a nosedive when they were moved up to the main roster, instead of being the next step toward greatness.

Very quickly, Konnor and Viktor found themselves on the losing side of things instead of being a powerhouse tag team with gold around their waists.

This booking has continued for the entirety of their careers, whether they're on Raw or SmackDown.

Only for a few brief days now and again do they ever seem to be of any value to WWE in any means other than being the butt of a joke, the fall guys who have to take the loss, or expendable house show talent to give other people a break from in-ring action.

By now, they've spent too much time losing to ever try to get back that mystique of being the next Legion of Doom and at any point in time, WWE could cut ties with them and not many fans would be too shocked.

There's no WWE Hall of Fame pot of gold waiting at the end of the rainbow in the wasteland.
