Cain Velasquez has already faced one of the most lethal men in the business today but failed in his attempt. Drew McIntyre, on the other hand, faced the same man for the first time at this year’s WrestleMania and defeated him cleanly with a handful of brutal Claymore Kicks.

McIntyre has emerged as WWE’s biggest Superstar this year and has gotten the push and hype that Becky Lynch got last year. Along with that, McIntyre’s refined look and character have helped him emerge as a crowd favorite who can take down his opponents with ease.

Velasquez could have benefitted a lot by taking on the biggest babyface Champion in the company today. A match between these two big men would have been nothing short of a dream match as McIntyre is one of the biggest names in wrestling today while Velasquez has been one of the biggest MMA stars for some time.

Unfortunately, we may never get to see what McIntyre could have done against another former UFC Champion in the squared circle.
