The man who worked extremely hard to become a megastar and fought against all odds to make a miraculous return to the ring has now become a star-marker.

Daniel Bryan has forever been seen as WWE’s biggest underdog and best wrestler, earning him the right to call himself The Planet’s Champion. No one can doubt his abilities in the ring, and he has managed to give some of WWE’s talent a big rub at the right time to help them get over.

We’ve seen Superstars such as Mustafa Ali, Kofi Kingston, Drew Gulak, and Murphy benefit from competing against Bryan over the past year or so. Similarly, Cain Velasquez too could have benefited from a contest against the Superstar.

Bryan vs. Brock Lesnar was already a big dream match for the fans, and a rivalry and match against Velasquez would have been as big, if not bigger.

The unique aspects of the contest between the two men would have definitely made this dream match work well. We’re sure that Bryan would have Velasquez look like a million bucks in the ring had he gotten a chance.
