Whilst The Undertaker was busy having nightmares about the fact that Vince McMahon could call him at any moment and ask him to dress up like a Turkey for his WWE debut, there was one man who was actually given the job.
Hector Guerrero, who is the older brother of former WWE star Eddie Guerrero, made his debut many years before his brother and was under a costume. WWE heavily hyped up the debut of The Gooker for months before the egg hatched at Survivor Series and the commentary team even tried to be excited whilst the audience in attendance booed the turkey out of the building.

When Mean "Gene" Okerlund was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame back in 2006, he revealed that it was Hector Guerrero under the costume when he stated that the star had a lot of fun at that time
"Héctor, we had a lot of fun, but all of this is forgotten"
Of course, there was no internet back then for fans to find out who was under the costume, so this was an interesting swerve.
