Braun Strowman had a brilliant match with Bray Wyatt at Money in the Bank. The Universal Champion managed to retain his title but not without getting hit with a few blows from his former mentor. In the end, The Monster Among Men had to resort to mind games to get one over the former leader of the Wyatt Family.
Strowman gets into the head of Wyatt at Money in the Bank
Strowman put on the black sheep mask and pretended to be reuniting with Wyatt before delivering a Running Powerslam to secure the win. This very deception might have resulted in Wyatt reaching his tipping point and we all know what happens after that.
The match also ended with Bray Wyatt looking visibly distraught with flashes of The Fiend accompanying that image. So this rivalry may not have concluded at Money in the Bank after all. WWE does not have all of its top Superstars on the Blue brand at disposal either to put forward a new challenger for Strowman. Expect Wyatt to turn to The Fiend in a bid to teach Strowman his lesson.
