#4 Edge wins the Universal Championship, Roman Reigns does not take the pin
Roman Reigns vs. Edge was nothing short of a dream match a little over a year ago. Fast forward to WrestleMania 37, it will turn into reality with Daniel Bryan added into the mix as well.
Edge's WWE return has been miraculous and the Rated-R Superstar has shown how much he loves the business. It was on April 11, 2011 when Edge announced his retirement from in-ring competition during Monday Night RAW in one of the most emotional moments in WWE history. Exactly 10 years from that day, on April 11, 2021, Edge will be challenging for the Universal Championship against Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan in the main event of WrestleMania 37.
It would be poetic justice for Edge to win the Universal Championship exactly 10 years after announcing his retirement. Moreover, Edge has really impressed fans and quieted his critics ever since his return in 2020. He deserves to have one final run with a world title on SmackDown and that could start at WrestleMania 37. Again, even if he does win the match, it is highly unlikely that Roman Reigns will be taking the pin.
