He may have been known primarily for his time in Ring of Honor. Roderick Strong was once part of TNA Impact Wrestling.
During his time in TNA he was able to face the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi. the 'Messiah of the Backbreaker' joined WWE's NXT brand as a partner of Austin Aries during the Dusty Rhodes tag team classic.
He contended for the NXT title against Bobby Roode. However he is in the tag team division where Strong would capture a title. He has moved on from his history in a variety of different promotions including TNA to achieve success in WWE today
