WWE is doing their best to make Bobby Lashley look like an absolute beast right now and it's starting to work, with how large his victim count is becoming. In fact, between decimating Apollo Crews, Ricochet and Cedric Alexander all in one night, it looks like the company is trying to make him the next Brock Lesnar.

With that being said and Lesnar versus Lashely being a dream match for The WWE, it makes sense for the company to pull the trigger on this. Not only due to the fact that it will be a huge box office draw and grab the attention of fans, but also for what it will do to legitimize Lashley's career.

Lashley lost in his bid to become WWE Champion at Backlash and while he was protected in defeat by a distraction, it hurt him. Fortunately for Lashley, however, a Lesnar return and a match against The Beast Incarnate could be enough to shift the tide in Lashley's direction.
