In today's generation, we have Elias; the late 80s had The Honky Tonky Man. One of the most despised heels of all time, he was so good at playing the heel role, that when his run finally came to an end, the crowd erupted in joy.
Unlike the previous two Superstars in this list, The Honky Tonk Man did not have more than one championship run, but the single run was one of the finest in history.
