5 guys who could become the third member of the Bullet Club in the WWE

Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows on Raw

Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows made their Raw debuts this week, attacking the Usos following their victory in the tag team contenders tournament and sparking rumours of the arrival of the popular Bullet Club faction in the WWE.

The Bullet Club was founded in New Japan Pro Wrestling under the leadership of Prince Devitt a.k.a Finn Balor, the current NXT World Champion. Gallows and Anderson are former members of the group as is the current number one contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, A J Styles.

This list takes a look at five wrestlers who could be the third member of the Bullet Club alongside Gallows and Anderson, should the Bullet Club appear on Raw as a stable.

1. Finn Balor

Finn Balor(centre) during his Bullet Club days

The most obvious choice is the founding leader of the Bullet Club, Finn Balor. The former Prince Devitt has been the NXT World Champion for quite a while now and his main roster arrival should not take much time.

What better way to make an impact on Raw than as part of the hottest stable in all of pro wrestling right now?

Balor has been performing as a heel in live events which might be a precursor to his role in the heelish Bullet Club stable. Besides, Anderson and Gallows have never been the leaders of the Bullet Club for a sustained period and the stable cannot survive without a confident leader and Balor fits the bill.

A J Styles

AJ Styles with the Bullet Club

It is unlikely that A J Styles might rejoin the Bullet Club, with his strong singles push. But alongside Balor, he is the only former leader of the Bullet Club currently signed to the WWE and the company would want to use that connection sometime in the future.

It might be too early to turn A J heel, with the tremendous reaction that he has been getting, but his family ties with the Bullet Club cannot be ignored.

It would be great to see A J and Balor revive the Bullet Club and if the WWE somehow sign the Young Bucks too, hallelujah!

  1. Kevin Owens
    KO Club??

Owens has never been associated with the Bullet Club, but the stable’s attitude seems to be tailor-made for someone like Owens. Brash, cocky and great on the mike, it is a shame that Owens hasn’t got a singles match for the WWE World Heavyweight title, let alone a rematch for his Intercontinental title.

Having a stable to back him might be just what Owens needs to go the extra distance in the WWE – the stable might have to be renamed KO Club though!!!

  1. Dean Ambrose
Can Ambrose lead the Bullet Club

Let us face it – WWE is never going to push a face Ambrose to win the WWE World title. His credentials took another hit when he was pretty much squashed by Brock Lesnar in his Wrestlemania match and while the feud with Chris Jericho will definitely see him win the match, it is not going to re-establish his lost aura.

Ambrose needs to be turned heel and has to revert to his scrappy pain in the ass persona. He would need some help for this and that is where the Bullet Club comes in to the picture.

Being the head of the stable can help Ambrose insert some much needed life in to his character.

5.Shinsuke Nakamura

A Japanese leader??

Even though the original Bullet Club started as an all-foreigner faction in NJPW, we cannot forget the strong Japanese connection. The stable was so successful in Japan because of its subtle anti-Japanese stance - it had no Japanese members which is rare in NJPW.

Taking that into consideration, the Bullet Club can hope to replicate the magic in the WWE with a non-American at the helm. Even though Balor is Irish, the fans have already accepted him.

This opens the way for yet another NXT talent to make his claim on the main roster – Shinsuke Nakamura. With Hideo Itami currently on the shelf, Nakamura is the only Japanese talent in the WWE.

Can he debut on the main roster as the head of the Bullet Club?? It is unlikely, but not impossible.
