If you’ve just started watching WWE in the past couple of months, then we’re sure you wouldn’t have heard this name before. However, let us assure you that an extremely talented superstar by the name of EC3 is a part of the company.

Formerly known as Derrick Bateman during his original WWE tenure, EC3 showed great promise after returning to the NXT brand, even though he never won any titles in his stay there. He had some high profile feuds which allowed him to remain one of the most talked-about wrestlers on the brand.

On December 2018, WWE moved EC3 to the main roster along with a few other wrestlers and fans believed he would get the biggest push among them. While his initial days on the main roster were decent, which even allowed him to score a quick victory over Dean Ambrose, he was moved to battling on Main Event and soon disappeared from the scene.

On the June 24 episode of Raw, EC3 pinned 24/7 Champion Cedric Alexander, to claim his first championship within the company, but quickly dropped it to R-Truth seconds later following a distraction by Carmella.

EC3 has much so more potential and could become a great mid-card wrestler for the company, but someone or something seems to be holding the two-time TNA World Heavyweight Championship back which is surely hurting his image.
