Can you imagine WWE taking Goldberg out of his undefeated reign of dominance and putting him on the sidelines for months before forging him into a tag team with another wrestler?

Asuka was one of the most dominant and well-known female wrestlers in the world heading into WrestleMania 34. However, she was defeated by Charlotte Flair who was defending her SmackDown Women’s Championship to hand Asuka her first WWE loss.

The former SmackDown Women’s Champion held the title for merely 99 days (less than Bayley’s current reign as champion) and has completely fizzled out down the ranks thanks to WWE creatives turning the tides on her.

Asuka has lost almost all the dominance that she had and has become more of a mid-card wrestler than anything else and is now wrestling in a tag team with Kairi Sane.

WWE could have done so much more with The Empress of Tomorrow in the past year or so, but were too focused on building women such as Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch while constantly keeping Charlotte on top at the cost of Asuka’s value.
