#3 Beth Phoenix and Natalya might be the new team to challenge the Women's Tag Team Championship

The Women's Tag Team Titles weren't on the line at Royal Rumble this year, as Asuka challenged Becky Lynch for the RAW Women's Championship. Despite a valiant effort from Asuka, she could not replicate the same result from last year, and she was forced to tap out by Becky Lynch.

With no credible challengers left for the Women's Tag Team Titles, it will be interesting to see who gets the opportunity of challenging The Kabuki Warriors. Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair were their last opponents, and they are not going to challenge the twin belts again. However, the answer was probably hinted during the women's Royal Rumble match this year.

Beth Phoenix, the WWE Hall of Famer and a former Women's Champion, entered the Royal Rumble match delivering an impressive performance. She found an alliance in Natalya, and they eliminated a number of women as a team. As a matter of fact, Beth ended up being in the last four. Although Beth eliminated Natalya as well, it's not unusual to see in a Royal Rumble match. The team of Beth Pheonix and Natalya is certainly outstanding, and it will not be surprising if WWE decides to go forward with them to boost the Women's tag team division. Beth and Natalya could be an ideal team to challenge and dethrone The Kabuki Warriors at WrestleMania 36.
