#2 EC3

EC3 had so much potential coming back to WWE.
EC3 had so much potential coming back to WWE.

The most talked about NXT signing of 2018 was EC3, as 'the top one percent' made a name for himself in the impact zone, and many had high hopes that WWE finds a way to make him an even bigger star.

But here we are about six months after EC3's main roster call up, talking about how he could have been an integral part of the narratives when he is actually just another face in a sea of other wrestlers.

The funny thing about EC3 being so underutilised in WWE is due to his programme with Dean Ambrose(Jon Moxley) all the way back in January, as Ambrose said on Chris Jericho's podcast that the backlash EC3 got from going over against him, is probably what made WWE pull the lug on his push.

That is truly unfortunate, as Ambrose's departure from the WWE was always going to face backlash from the fans. However, now it's EC3's potential that is being wasted, as he has not been involved in any narrative for the last few months.

#3 Matt Hardy

A legend that should be used more.
A legend that should be used more.

Who are the greatest tag team to ever set foot in a wrestling ring? There are so many options to choose from, as the choices that many of you make will be influenced by the generation you grew up in, but there is one team that many picks regardless of age or favouritism, and they are The Hardy Boys.

Matt and Jeff Hardy might be a tag team that influenced a generation, as everything from their insane in-ring offence to their trend-setting attire was making waves, but in 2019 one half of the Hardy Boys has not had any luck in the company.

Now the fact of Matt Hardy's lack of usage is due to the man being unable to wrestle at the same pace he did all those years ago, but that doesn't mean WWE can't use him in another role. Hardy has proved himself as one of the charismatic wrestlers on the world over the last few years, as his 'Broken Matt' gimmick was just perfectly done.

Hardy can be used as an on-screen manager for an upstart, a potential GM or even as a colour commentator, WWE just can't waste a star of his calibre.
