5 Huge WWE superstars who are doing nothing at the moment

Nothing to see here.

#4 Shelton Benjamin

A veteran that deserves more attention.
A veteran that deserves more attention.

Do you remember how excited everyone felt when WWE announced that 'the gold standard' himself was making a return to the company in 2016? Fans had outlined a list of dream matches Shelton Benjamin had to contest and many thought that those dream matches will see him pick up a few more titles along the way, but we all were so wrong.

Benjamin's return to the company has been a total flop, as WWE has strangely refused to use this talented star in any narratives, and that is a mistake. Shelton could walk into any division in WWE today and tear the house down, as the tag team division, cruiserweight scene and even mid-card title picture could use him to get superstars over. However, Shelton remains unused in WWE, and we may never know the reason why.

#5 Shinsuke Nakamura

Nakamura being underused is a mistake.
Nakamura being underused is a mistake.

Let me start off this point off by saying what ever has happened to Shinsuke Nakamura? This is a man that was considered as the biggest acquisition WWE made in the last decade, as even AJ Styles' move to the WWE could be ranked behind Nakamura's hype into NXT.

When Nakamura arrived in NXT and blew the roof of the building by contesting a classic with Sami Zayn, many knew he was going to be a future Wrestlemania main eventer, but no one would have ever thought he would fall out of the main event the way he did in 2019.

Even though Nakamura won the 2018 Royal Rumble match, and had multiple WWE Title matches, it seems like WWE isn't going to get him back to the top. Now there are rumours circulating that Shinsuke might be looking to retire from pro wrestling in almost five years time, and it would be a shame if one of the greatest Japanese wrestlers to waste the remaining years of his career doing nothing on Tuesday nights.
