Lars Sullivan has been out of action since the summer of 2019 when he suffered a knee injury in his match against The Lucha House Party. The last update we had on him was that he was expected to make his return this month. However, Sportskeeda's own Tom Colohue recently revealed in a Facebook Live video that he hadn't heard of any return plans for The Freak.
Sullivan has had a number of issues since his promotion to the main roster, one being his anxiety forcing him to be sent home from Raw, where he missed his debut. With the recent pandemic, it's likely that Sullivan is working hard to get back into shape at home and WWE will then assess the injury when it's safe.
Sullivan could be a top star in WWE on either SmackDown or RAW given the chance, but at present, there has been no update following his rehab. It's expected that Sullivan can make his return as soon as physically possible and that he is currently waiting to be cleared by WWE's in-house doctors.
