#2 Bobby Lashley

He's been booked strongly.
He's been booked strongly.

Bobby Lashley has been booked like the powerhouse that he is throughout his wrestling career, including both stints with WWE. He first wrestled for them from 2005 to 2007, winning the United States Championship and the ECW Championship. Despite being a "World Championship", the latter is not considered in the Grand Slam discussion, making Lashley two titles away from completing it. He has also not won the Tag Team Championship yet, while becoming a 2-time Intercontinental Champion in the past year. After a decade away from WWE, the Dominator returned on the RAW after WrestleMania 34.

As mentioned above, Lashley won the IC Championship twice within his first year back, finally dropping the title to a The Demon Finn Balor at WrestleMania 35. The former TNA megastar is currently a decent upper mid-card player, having returned a few weeks ago to take part in one of the most bizarre angles of the year. Even with the current storyline of Lashley being in a relationship with Rusev's wife, Lana, there is always a possibility that he could slot into the title picture. If the circumstances are right, Bobby Lashley could make for a great WWE World Champion.
