The brand split has caused many wonky shenanigans for Clash of Champions, as evidenced by the previous entry. However, as well as the five WWE Superstars who have competed at both the RAW and SmackDown LIVE brand Clash of Champions, the United States Title has also featured on both shows.

Roman Reigns faced Rusev with Lana by his side, for the US Title in 2016 (who also featured on both branded Clash of Champions but not as an active wrestler, the first as a valet to Rusev, and the second as a lumberjack) and won.

Then, the title swapped between Jericho, Reigns and Owens until Jericho was transferred to SmackDown LIVE with it, where it eventually ended up on Baron Corbin, who unsuccessfully defended it against Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode, with Ziggler picking up the pinfall victory over the former champ.
