After months of being seen as the backstage comic relief and the team that makes up the numbers, The Street Profits have finally been added to a pay-per-view main card and are now set to defend their Tag Team Championships against former Champions Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy.

Interestingly, The Street Profits did appear as part of the Survivor Series kickoff show, but stats don't include kick-off shows in their writeups, but if they did then this is their first pay-per-view Championship match.

The former NXT stars will take on the former Champions knowing that Murphy is yet to lose a title match on the main card of a pay-per-view. Murphy has been part of several title matches as the Cruiserweight Champion but many of them were on pre-shows, and his only loss came on the kickoff show of last year's WrestleMania.

It's easy to see why this match is seen as one of the most anticipated of the night because The Street Profits have become popular stars with the WWE Universe.
