#4 Edge's return being canned

A big return?
A big return?

The big return expected this time is WWE Hall of Famer Edge. There have been rumors floating around for months from various reliable websites that Edge has gotten medically cleared to return to the ring and he was in Pittsburgh, where the main WWE medical happens.

The rumors started circulating so heavily that Edge was forced to deny it. Of course, there wasn't going to be any other response from him either way. To add to the speculation, he has also been in his best physical shape in years.

But there's a high possibility that the return doesn't happen. It could simply be like the case of Samoa Joe in 2017 - where he was expected to debut at the Royal Rumble but did so only one night after - getting the big spot to himself.

Edge certainly won't win the Royal Rumble, but an appearance would be great. With that said, don't be disappointed if WWE cancels the appearance of The Rated-R Superstar at the last minute.
