Well, let's be honest here, almost the majority of the AEW fanbase would love to see a singles run for Kenny Omega. But this time, under his heel demeanor. Much like Hangman Page, Omega had also started out as a singles star in AEW but after a series of losses to the likes of Chris Jericho, PAC, and Jon Moxley, the promotion finally decided to pair 'The Cleaner' with fellow Elite stablemate Hangman Page.
While Omega has successfully revived his momentum in AEW under the tag team division, it is almost time for him to break away from Page and do his own thing in the singles division. Omega is no stranger to working as a heel. As a matter of fact, back in New Japan Pro Wrestling, he was the company's biggest gaijin heel and also led to the Bullet Club from the front during that tenure.
At Fight For The Fallen, Omega finally showcased signs of a heel turn when he pummeled Marko Stunt after The Elite's match with The Jurassic Express and it now looks like the seeds have been planted for a potential Kenny Omega heel turn.
