#1 Vince McMahon finally gets his golden boy

Wade Keller of PWTorch revealed on a podcast over five years ago that the original plan from Vince McMahon was to push Big E as the face of the company instead of Roman Reigns.
However, it was Triple H who convinced Vince McMahon to go with Roman Reigns instead and since then, we know how it all ended up playing out. Roman Reigns finally ended up getting the recognition that he deserved after his return from leukemia.

However, WWE doesn't have a golden boy in this day and age. Vince McMahon prefers to promote the company as the star rather than a singular name like they did with John Cena, The Rock, 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, and Hulk Hogan.
However, that could still change. We might be in the modern era but there's a possibility that Vince McMahon ends up proving himself right and finds his new golden boy in Big E. That would certainly make fans quickly turn on Big E, but he could be established as the company's biggest star.
