5 major things that must happen on the Road to WrestleMania 34

Th
The Road to WrestleMania 34 will be monumental

The Road to WrestleMania is shaping up pretty nicely and the fans are keen to see what awaits them at the Super Dome in New Orleans. Some matches have been set in stone and are likely to take place, while some are still on the verge of being booked or shelved.

In order to create a magnum opus of this calibre, WWE must pull out all the stops to ensure a classic event at WrestleMania 34.

Here are 5 major things that must happen on the Road to WrestleMania 34

#5 Finn Balor must be inserted into the Universal Title Picture

The
The Demon can push Lesnar to the limits

It's a damn shame that WWE does not realize the irrefutable potential of Finn Balor between the ropes and have constantly shelved him from an opportunity at the Universal Championship which he never lost. The title is currently held by Brock Lesnar and, while it could be the last time Lesnar enters WrestleMania, it makes sense to insert Balor into the title picture in order to promote good storytelling.

Finn vs Brock could be a show-stopper and will be a marketable option as the inclusion of The Demon could increase Finn's stock as a legitimate threat to Brock Lesnar. And after he wins the Fatal 4-way at Elimination Chamber, he could be the favorite to win it all if WWE decides to pull the trigger on him instead of Roman Reigns.

There's no denying that Roman Reigns would be a marquee opponent for Lesnar, but, the inclusion of Balor could take this feud to another level. Let's hope that this comes true.

#4 Braun Strowman & Samoa Joe must start a sensational rivalry

Who
Who's up for a war?

WWE have booked Braun Strowman as a legitimate heel who lives on competition and decimates anyone who stands before him. The company must continue to push the Monster and book him in a marquee match at the Super Dome & this is where Samoa Joe comes to mind.

Both Superstars have tremendous ability to pull off something sensational at 'The Show of Shows', and if WWE pushes the envelope with this match, it will be nothing less than a war.

'The Destroyer' is expected to return to action soon and would be a perfect choice to be included in a feud with 'The Monster Among Men'. There's no denying that Samoa Joe doesn't fear the Monster and seems like a legitimate threat to his dominant kingdom. It all depends on the creative booking and would definitely be a classic rivalry, to say the least.

#3 Batista must return and confront The Big Dog

T
The battle of spears

Wrestling fans still remember the two nights in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia where these two punched their ticket to 'the Grandest Stage of them All'. The horrifying thing was the victory was not well received by the WWE Universe and still remains two of the most disappointing PPV's under the Royal Rumble chronology.

But, if there's a perfect time for WWE to bring back 'The Animal' for one last match, then it is now.

Batista must return to the squared circle be awarded a blockbuster feud with Roman Reigns, considering that Balor will face The Beast. This would also be an ideal opportunity for the fans to get behind Reigns. The match itself could steal the spotlight from other matches on the card and could solidify Roman's position as the top guy in the company.

Batista vs Roman Reigns seems like the genuine way to go at the Super Dome and would give someone like Balor an opportunity to shine in the main event.

#2 AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura must be personal

Thi
This is money

Shinsuke Nakamura has punched his ticket to New Orleans and has earned a massive opportunity at the WWE Championship on 'The Grandest Stage Of Them All'. While Styles will have to defend his title before WrestleMania, it is unlikely that he will lose it since WWE is determined to have this dream match at the Super Dome.

There's no denying that this match will be in-ring magic and could be one the most creative feuds of this year, but if WWE decides to create personal animosity between the two before this colossal match, then that would be justified for the fans to invest in this marquee match.

Nakamura and Styles must be personally involved in what they are trying to convey and collide with each other in a brawl before heading to New Orleans. It all depends on how the company perceives this feud and considering that they are really high on both of them, it would be an ideal time for them to produce a classic with some engrossing storytelling.

#1 John Cena promises to end The Phenom's career

T
It's about damn time that these two collide at the Super Dome

We all know that WWE will never turn John Cena 'heel' as he has been the poster boy of the company since so long and, has continued to be an inspiration for millions of his fans all over the world, but they certainly could transform him into someone who is overconfident about his chances against someone as iconic as The Undertaker.

It's about time that Cena displays some shades of grey and works the audience by straying away from his usual self.

Promising to end the career of 'The Phenom' and challenging him for a Career vs Career match could be the most viable option as of now, considering that both the Superstars are near the end of their careers.

The Undertaker vs John Cena will not be a solid match inside the squared circle but the booking of this match could overcome the in-ring potential of this bout. WrestleMania 34 is near and a match between these two legends could be the main event of this year with The Deadman hanging up his boots for good.
