#4 Aleister Black returns with a new gimmick and look

Last year, Seth Rollins and Murphy destroyed the eyes of Aleister Black on RAW (in kayfabe), the same way they did to Rey Mysterio at WWE Extreme Rules. Aleister Black was out of action for a long time and during his time off, he teased a new look on social media with a demonic mask.

However, when he returned, he just had an eye-sling sort of a thing that was also later removed. WWE definitely missed a huge opportunity to make a massive change to his gimmick and potentially give him a new look. But we might see WWE do the same whenever Aleister Black returns this time.

Before his sudden disappearance from WWE TV, Aleister Black was a heel facing Kevin Owens on SmackDown. An interesting possibility for Aleister Black on his return would be to come back and join hands with the Universal Champion Roman Reigns. We recently saw WWE tease an alliance between Apollo Crews and Roman Reigns, which means there's always a possibility of The Tribal Chief adding more Superstars in his faction.

If WWE does plan to take this route, it could happen as soon as this Sunday at Royal Rumble 2021 with Aleister Black returning and helping Reigns retain his title and cost Kevin Owens his match. It would make all the sense in the world and Roman Reigns could elevate Black to the next level.
