From Money in the Bank ladder matches to the Royal Rumble match, matches with stipulations have been a part of the WWE for many years. We have seen Superstars also take part in such matches as the Hell in a Cell match, a steel cage match and an Iron Man match.

However, there are several stipulation-based matches that will never happen again as the reasons for discontinuing those type of matches have varied, whether it's the WWE rated TV-PG or a certain division receiving a new direction.

So, let's count down these stipulations that have seen their days in the WWE now that the WWE is currently in the so-called "New Era."

#5 WeeLC Match

The so-called WeeLC match, where Hornswoggle faced El Torito, at the 2014 Extreme Rules pay-per-view, got surprising decent reviews.

However, Hornswoggle and El Torito's television times were reduced as they were favorites of WWE Executive Producer Kevin Dunn. But as time wore on, WWE decided to go in a different direction and small wrestlers like Hornswoggle and El Torito relics of the past.

#4 Buried Alive match

Throughout his time in the WWE, The Undertaker has competed in bizarre matches such as the Casket Match where the object is to stuff your opponent inside the casket, or his other bizarre specialty, the Buried Alive Match.

The objective of the Buried Alive match is to bury your opponent completely in a pile of dirt. There have been five Buried Alive matches with the last one taking place during the 2010 Bragging Rights pay-per-view, where Kane won the match thanks to some assistance from the Nexus.

But don't expect this match to happen now that The Phenom has pretty much retired from in-ring action.

#3 Kiss My Foot Match

Throughout its history, there have only been two "Kiss My Foot" matches where the loser of the match is forced to kiss the winner's barefoot. Ironically, both of these matches involved legendary WWE announcer Jerry "The King" Lawler.

The match was first contested back in the 1995 King of the Ring pay-per-view where Bret Hart defeated Lawler. Lawler not only kissed Hart's foot but his own foot as well.

The second time it happened was at the 2011 Over The Limit pay-per-view and the culmination of Lawler's feud with fellow announcer Michael Cole. After Lawler defeated Cole, Cole got his comeuppance from Eve Torres, Jim Ross and Bret Hart.

With the WWE going in a more wrestling-based direction in the last couple of years, this may be the last time that we will ever see this match.

#2 Any demeaning Women's match

During the Divas Era from 1999 to as recently as 2015, the majority of WWE's female talents came from modeling backgrounds but there were diamonds in the rough that included the likes of Trish Stratus, Lita, Victoria, Molly Holly, Mickie James, Beth Phoenix, Natalya, AJ Lee and Paige, just to name a few.

It was also an era that saw matches which focused on so-called eye candy which included bra-and-panties matches, pillow fights, bikini contests, evening gown matches, Halloween costume contests, Santa's Little Helpers matches, pudding matches, Fulfill Your Fantasy battle royals and even a gravy bowl match.

But those days are long gone now that the indie wrestler has replaced the model when it came to hiring female talents thanks in large part to the Divas Division rebranded as the Women's Division.

The likes of Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, Asuka, Bayley, Alexa Bliss and Becky Lynch are treated as equals to their male counterparts.

#1 First Blood match

The First Blood match was a staple of WWE's Attitude Era and continued through the Ruthless Aggression era where nine such matches took place, the last one featuring John Cena and JBL during the 2008 One Night Stand pay-per-view.

The objective is for the Superstar to make his opponent bleed. But now that the WWE programming is currently rated TV-PG as well as marketing to children, it's safe to say that we'll never see this type of match in the WWE again.
