AJ Styles and Randy Orton have faced off before, and it was billed as the biggest match in SmackDown history. Orton won that match clean, and they teased the much-anticipated Phenomenal Forearm-to-RKO spot.
With Styles likely set to lose at the Royal Rumble to Daniel Bryan, it seems as though he's going to be out of the championship picture for a while. This means that his next biggest match on the blue brand would be none other than The Viper himself, Randy Orton.
The match was also reportedly rumoured for WrestleMania 33, but WWE chose the route of going with Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton instead. While Styles vs Orton would be a match early on the WrestleMania card, there's no doubt that they could steal the show.
We may also finally see the long-awaited Phenomenal Forearm-to-RKO spot! However, that would probably mean that Orton would win, and fans wouldn't be happy with that!
