This is a match that nobody would have expected even a month ago. Lars Sullivan's debut has been pending for a while now, and there have been reports of him having nervous breakdowns backstage and other emotional issues.

Cena has done a great job over the last three years in putting over superstars. He's been completely unselfish, and in the first month of January, he managed to put over Becky Lynch on SmackDown Live and Finn Balor on RAW, giving both of them his full endorsement.

Don't be surprised if this match turns out to be a complete squash match. Sullivan may very well be the superstar that WWE looks to replace Brock Lesnar long-term.
