The last time Finn Balor painted his body and brought out his alter ego was at SummerSlam 2016, and that was the same pay-per-view where Balor become the first ever Universal Champion.

This year Balor was in action against a newly created corporate stooge in Baron Corbin and as to why would anyone think that this was the right match for Balor to bring back his famed persona and that too against Constable Corbin?

Sure it was a surprising sight to witness Balor bring back his alter ego with no rumors spoiling it, but in a mid card rivalry, this just felt like a disappointing use of such a rarely used creative tool.
