#4 Shinsuke Nakamura loses to Otis on WWE SmackDown

Another match on WWE SmackDown tonight saw former Money in the Bank holder Otis take on Shinsuke Nakamura and defeat him clean. WWE is trying to build-up the pairing of Otis and Chad Gable and while it was a good decision to give Otis a victory, one has to wonder whether Shinsuke Nakamura needed to be the man to take the loss. There are several other Superstars who could have taken a loss.

Shinsuke Nakamura, a former Royal Rumble winner and one of the best in-ring workers on the SmackDown roster, has unfortunately lost so much momentum that it would be tough for WWE to build him up again as a singles main-event Superstar.

#3 Why separate Peyton Royce and Billie Kay?

One of the most confusing decisions taken by WWE this year was to separate Peyton Royce and Billie Kay, aka The IIconics. There were rumors that Vince McMahon plans to push Royce as a singles Superstar, but as we have witnessed in the last few months, WWE has strangely paired her up with Lacey Evans.

As for Billie Kay, she teamed up with Tamina tonight on SmackDown and lost to the team of Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott. With the 'resume' gimmick to Adam Pearce teasing her to be an authority figure, WWE seems to have no solid plan for Billie Kay. The women's tag team division of WWE isn't very deep and one has to wonder if it was the correct decision to split The IIconics.
