Let's hope that WWE doesn't decide to turn Edge heel at Elimination Chamber, as they may be tempted to, for a potential clash against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania.
WWE has traditionally strayed away from babyface vs. babyface clashes at WrestleMania (with exceptions such as AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura or Hulk Hogan vs. The Ultimate Warrior).
It just doesn't make sense to turn either man heel at Elimination Chamber because they are two of the most beloved babyfaces in the company at this point in time.
Yes, Edge has done some of the best work of his life as a heel, but his comeback story is far too glorious for him to adopt such a persona at this moment. It just makes far more sense for him to challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania.
A babyface vs. babyface match with Edge vs. Drew McIntyre could work, but it would be strange for WWE to go down that route when a good alternative is available.
