Whatever you may say about Brock Lesnar’s laziness inside the ropes (especially if you’re Dean Ambrose), he can still have a really good match with his opponents. Unlike the current Universal Champion, Goldberg, that is.
With Goldberg contesting for the Universal Championship, the much-awaited Owens-Goldberg encounter eventually just became a squash match, much like the many matches he had during his rather meteoric WCW ascent.
While Lesnar too is a part timer, at least he is a part-timer who can still go in the wrestling ring. If Lesnar wins the Universal Championship, we can see competitive matches for the top spot one more time at least.

If Goldberg carries the title into Summerslam, it would be a disaster on quite many levels, truth be told.
Let's hope WWE agrees with us in this regard.
