The world of wrestling requires one essential trait in every wrestler, that of having a good physique. A nice, chiselled body adds to the glitz and glamour of wrestling. WWE always wanted their wrestlers to lay great emphasis on training and bodybuilding. Vince McMahon would induct anyone in the WWE universe, who had a great physique.

There have been numerous wrestlers who have had great bodies. Some were bulky and others were lean but they were always fit.

We have discussed 5 wrestlers, who had the most impressive physique in WWE history.


#5 Lex Luger

Lex Luger had the finest physique in NWA/WCW during the late 1980s. He was nicknamed “The Total Package” solely for this reason. When he debuted in WWE, he was also known as The Narcissist due to his obsession with his body. Luger would constantly discuss his low body fat percentage to put other wrestlers down.

Prior to joining professional wrestling, Luger played football at college and professional level. The Chicago native played for Canadian Football League. His fixation for having a chiselled body started during his football days.

The Rock is considered to be one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. He maintained a stunning body, a trait he picked up from his father, WWE Hall of Famer Rocky Johnson. When The Rock faced John Cena in the ring for “Once in a Lifetime” battle at WrestleMania XXVIII, he was at his prime.

Before he came to the wrestling world, he was a football player for the University of Miami. He was also a part of the Hurricanes who won the 1991 National Championship. This was the place where The People's Champ picked up bodybuilding and keeping fit.

#3 Triple H

Triple H has always aspired to be the most distinguished WWE Superstars of all time. In order to achieve this, he was always fit and on top of his game. The Game returned back stronger after his career was threatened by leg injuries during 2001.

In his younger days, he began competing in the bodybuilding competitions and was ordained as 1988’s Teenage Mr New Hampshire. The Cerebral Assassin worked hard on his body and even wrote the book "Making the Game: Triple H's Approach to a Better Body."


#2 John Cena

The kind of physical strength which was displayed by John Cena is not seen in any of the other wrestlers. He began building his body much before he entered the world of professional wrestling. The Cenation Leader was an NCAA Division III All-American centre for the college football team.

When Cena was attending college at Springfield, he pursued his obsession with physical fitness by studying exercising-physiology. After his graduation, he continued his passion and joined WWE. The Cenation leader is known for his strength and physical prowess. It looks as if he never leaves the weight room.

Rick Rude was a professional wrestler who played for WCW, WWF, and ECW. He was a one-time WWF Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion, a three-time WCW International World Heavyweight Champion, and a one-time WCW United States Heavyweight Champion. Rude was the founder member of the D-Generation X alongside Chyna, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels.

Rick Rude was one of the first wrestlers to reduce weight in order to increase his speed in the ring. He was handsome too which made him a popular wrestler at WWE.

The Ravishing One had the most chiseled physique in WWE history. He was arrogant to the core, and his tactics inside the ring were often questionable. However, this did not seem to matter as his stature as a physical specimen was undeniable.

Rude was quick to insult anyone who did not practice bodybuilding. He regarded the body as a temple of God. Most of the time, the audience was the object of his insults. He was known for dropping his robe and displaying his eight-pack abs to mesmerize female fans and make the boys envious.

Throughout his career, he maintained his body to the level that was simply ravishing.
