The Fiend has almost made it a thing to go after legends, from Kurt Angle to Mick Foley, to Jerry 'The King' Lawler and even Goldberg, even though he came up short and lost the Universal Championship to the WCW icon. I think that it's only a matter of time before he goes after Edge setting up a feud that gets resolved in Saudi Arabia.

In fact, The Fiend can bring up certain unpleasant memories from Edge's past to remind him how different he used to be.
