However, he became an integral part of NXT’s early touring days and ended up spending two years with the brand, which meant he wasn’t part of WWE’s main roster in time to feature at either WrestleMania 31 or WrestleMania 32.

Last year, he recovered from a long-term shoulder injury in time to make it back for WrestleMania 33, but WWE decided to have him return the night after ‘Mania instead.
